GET INTO THE GROVE: My friend @justinberkowitz ask

GET INTO THE GROVE: My friend @justinberkowitz asked if I would design the first seasonal windows for the new @nn.07.official flagship in Soho. We decided on the idea of a birch forest — one that referred to the company’s Danish legacy and aesthetic.

One day I noticed the patterns made by the fire escapes of buildings in NYC, so I took a photo. It reminded me of birch bark, and thought it would be nice to create trees with something indicative of the city where the company’s first US shop is located.

Now the new holiday windows feature a birch forest inspired by NYC fire escapes.

The store is hosting a kick off to the season on Wednesday evening, 11/13, from 6-9 PM.
